UUCOC Fall 2023 Parish Meeting & Potluck Brunch
Please join us on the 22nd at 11:00 AM for our Fall Parish Meeting and Potluck. We will be having an abbreviated worship service at 10:00 AM followed by the Potluck and the Parish Meeting. A motion from the Widening the Circle of Concern Work Group for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Workshop they have been developing will be presented for a vote of acceptance by our congregation.

The Motion from the widening the Circle of Concern Workgroup:

"We, the Unitarian Universalist Church, recommend that the Diversity Equity and Inclusion workshop be implemented with the goal of reaching more than 50% of current members and 100% of new members prior to the Spring 2024 Parish Meeting.

We request that the DEI team collect feedback from the participants and create a report evaluating the program to be presented at the spring 2024 parish meeting. 

In the event that the congregation chooses to make the workshop a requirement of membership, participants who have already attended the workshop will have meet that requirement."
