On Sunday, January 17th, at 2:00 PM, there will be a special Parish meeting to discuss much needed repairs on the church structures. Due to the cost, we need to hold a vote before requesting these funds from the endowment.

We need a quorum to take this vote, so please make time to attend.

The board will also be introducing the Circle of Concern report and asking the congregation for a commitment to be involved in future plans and the changes needed to help our church grow.

The UUA Circle of Concern

The UUA Circle of Concern report holistically evaluates strengths and weaknesses and suggests changes we might make at the congregational, regional, and national levels to address diversity and inclusion. At UUCOC, we are forming study groups to review this material in-depth to evaluate steps our congregation might take to move toward more equity, inclusion, and diversity in our beloved community.

Because we anticipate decisions regarding changes based on this report, we encourage every congregant to participate, if possible, so you are informed of items that may surface for a vote at a parish meeting.

Note: The Circle of Concern will be discussed at the Parish Meeting on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 2 pm.
